Job Description
Join our growing team! Be involved in the analysis, design, development and deployment of consistent training materials to support Sales and Marketing at Hilton Grand Vacations. This unique opportunity allows you to work with the Director of eLearning and positively impact the performance of the organization!
As the Instructional Designer in Sales and Marketing you will successfully execute the following:
- Utilize the latest Instructional Systems Design techniques to build groundbreaking learning solutions for HGV Sales and Marketing teams
- Serve as a key partner in the creation of creative and engaging learning solutions to include instructor led training, eLearning, job aids, and other relevant training materials
- Write learning objectives, course content, scenarios, media scripts, practice activities, and assessments
- Create and maintain eLearning courses and online tests using Articulate Storyline and other development tools
- Create sales training manuals, product knowledge guides, technology training guides, and other printed training resources using Adobe InDesign, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Assist with all areas of testing, course evaluations, analysis, feedback collection, and updating the training
- Partner with the Senior Manager of LMS to administer courses, course assignments, and reporting in the learning management system (LMS)
- Collaborate across all departments within HGV to ensure training content is current, accurate, consistent and aligned with goals
- Assist with the development and implementation of training benchmarks for continuous improvement with training programs
- Openly engage in all discussions relating to training issues; provide solution-based input and make logical recommendations.
- Deliver projects efficiently so that tasks are completed on time and problems are anticipated or resolved quickly

At the core of our company's success are our Team Members. To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years in a corporate learning and development position
- 2+ years personally crafting and developing training materials such as training guides, and job aids
- 2 or more years of experience creating eLearning modules using eLearning development tools
- 2+ years of experience with learning management system administration functions
- Expert technical writing, proofreading and grammar skills
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Master's Degree
- Video editing experience
- Facilitation experience
- Experience working in a sales industry
